Tina Marie Rider is a Licensed
mural artist, certified instructor, Certified Interior Design consultant and independent faux finisher, owner and manager
of Decor & After, LLC, specializing in Handpainted Wall Murals and Faux Finishes for 18 years. Rider also
creates unique canvas Art by infusing plasters and Faux products into her paintings. She's completed projects for Designers,
Builders, hair salons, tanning salons, Casinos, specialty stores, health-care facilities and other area businesses and private
home owners
Rider's work has appeared on the cover of The
Artistic Stenciler Magazine, including a 5 page article "Listening for Mural Design" detailing
the mural process and how to personalize for the client. In the gallery of the Alliance for the Arts,
Transmissions Rider's work was juried in and the only painting sold.
The first ever "PAINT THE CAPE", Tina Marie Was selected as a juried Plein Air Competition and Exhibition Artitist January 3-10th, 2010. Paint
the Cape is a multi-day "en plein air" artistic competition and art exhibition benefiting the Cape Coral Community
Foundation, a 501(c)3, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the public well-being and improving the quality of
life in the greater Cape Coral community.
Rider also participated in "THE QUICK DRAW"
on January 9th, 2010. Tina painted on site "the RUN AGROUNDS" ice cream parlor and her Art was again SOLD
Currently, Tina is participating in the Mardi Bras and Briefs event to benefit cancer awarness!
She has given expert Advise
to Interior Designers, Home Owners, and Resort communities and helped guide other artists with trouble-shooting on the job
site. Upscale furniture stores display Tina Maries' fine art and numerous home owners have commissioned her for unique finishes
and canvas artwork, many are repeat customers.
Rider is a member of the Fort Myers, Florida
Alliance for Arts, the International Decorative Artisans League (IDAL), a member of Murals
Plus and The Atrium on-line Forums and Member of SWFLA Decorative Artists.
She
uses the finest materials and cutting edge techniques by continuing to learn and sharpen her skills with national and international
recognized masters of art.
Rider has donated murals to local schools, Churches and day-cares
with hopes to inspire children and to help their parents nurture their Child's creativity, Arranged
and organized a team to participate in Habitat for Humanity and Organized TEAM
DECOR & AFTER to Raise and Donate Funds for The American Cancer Societies' "Relay for Life",
and most recently, joined a Mission Trip to Haiti to paint. The founders of Baptist
Haiti Mission have asked Tina to restore two primitive murals and create a few new ones to enhance biblical teachings
at the mission school.
